Description

Our running pace slows as we climb up to Trælanípa, a perpendicular rock wall, jutting 142 meters straight up out of the Atlantic Ocean. The closer we get to the edge, the more we slow down. This is sheer! And also scary especially knowing the history of the place. Trælanípa means “slave mountain top“. Allegedly right here on the Faroe island of Vágar, slaves were pushed over the cliff.
