Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Europe will oversee the promotion and distribution for the Golden Trail World Series circuit as part of a multi-year partnership
The stunning Valle di Ledro, in Garda, Trentino (Italy) will host the2025 Golden Trail World Series Grand Finale

16 April 2025 - The future of the Golden Trail World Series starts now! Just days before the 2025 season kicks off in Kobe, Japan, Salomon and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) Sports came together on the iconic Champs-Élysées in Paris to unveil a game-changing,multi-yearpartnership designed to elevate the Golden Trail World Series (GTWS) to new heights.Through this collaboration, WBD Sports Europe will lead the production, international distribution, and localized broadcasting of the GTWS races across multiple markets. In addition, the partnership will drive the promotion of the series across digital media platforms, helping to grow a global audience of sports fans. WBD Sports will also support the international marketing of the series to attract new partners and sponsors and help trail running break ground in new and emerging markets.
The GTWS offers a highly entertaining, TV-ready format with each event lasting around two hours, featuring steep climbs and technical descents as well as a “flower” course layout that allows spectators to see more of the race and better engage with the athletes.
Live and on-demand coverage of the series will be delivered to the widest possible audience, reaching more than 100 countries across five continents via WBD’s premium linear channels, including Eurosport (Europe) and TNT Sports (UK &Ireland) as well as streaming platforms Max/HBO Max and discovery+. This will be further amplified by an extensive network of broadcast partners,including free-to-air channels and OTT platforms.
Beyond traditional broadcast, free video content, news and storytelling will be accessible through its far-reaching social media and digital news platforms such as Eurosport.com and TNTSports.co.uk.

This week, the final piece of the 2025 puzzle has been revealed: the 2025 GTWS Grand Finale will take place in October in the breathtaking Ledro Valley, nestled in Italy’s Trentino region near Lake Garda. Surrounded by dramatic peaks rising over 2,000 metres and part of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the valley offers a natural setting of forests and meadows surrounding the crystal-clear waters of Lake Ledro — the perfect stage to bringthe 2025 season to a close.
NEW VISUAL IDENTITY AND CSR PROGRAM
Following the work done over the past 5 years, the future of the GTWS also unveils a new CSR program which includes a new open-source “My Event Impact” tool, developed in partnership with Protect OurWinters, AirCoop and key races to assess the impact of events before theirselection and track their progress once part of the circuit.
This CSR program,which will be fully unveiled at this year’s Grand Finale, also relies on advocating for more responsible sport and championing diversity and inclusion.

In addition, to support the growth and evolution of the GTWS, Salomon has worked with Project Standard to create a new visual identity for the series. It uses a modified Salomon font, creating a bold, impactful visual with high contrast, inspired by the high intensity GTWS races.
